Get it right man, that's not a car, it's a ute!! And a very nice ute at that showing the ultimate in US 50's car design. Sorry, ute design LOL Now tell us the story. Have you bought both of them or did you buy it from a guy with a collection of El Caminos?
I'll be lucky if i can do it again...lol I've had the white one for25 years.Friend had the red one, made me an offer that i thought was to good to turn down. 348 tri power, power steering, power brakes ,air. Now i have to learn how to clean.white one has mold growing on it. But its been around the world. 300,000 plus miles
NICE! How will we find you in Bowling Green without the white one there as your calling card? Very cool looking truck can't wait to see it in person. Joe
SWEEEEEET! It's like the "The Odd Couple" One is Felix - the straight-laced neat freak One is Oscar - the easy going slob Rich
The factory door jamb nameplate on my El lists it as a ''Sedan pickup''. The debate continues. Nice pair!
So the white one is your new car? I like the white one real well. Nice lookin Elky, the '59s and '60s always looked ready to fly to me and flyin is good even if it just flyin low. You don't see the salt flats wheels very often that really set the old Cheby off.
LOL The white one is part of the family. Kids grew up in it. Used to put tarp in back,TA-DA instant swimming pool. It is Alabama you know!!Lots of friends posting on here,Most know the red one is not my style, but i couldn't pass.I wanted a new sporty car, but life is not fair, i couldn't fit in one.I think I made the right choice!!
LOL I thought that an Elky was a sporty car with a long trunk. We use a cow trough here for a swimming pool. The kids have to learn early on not to pee in the pool, the cows don't need that much salt. ( once when I was little I was playing in a cow trough and a big ol Guernsey just walked up and licked me funny the things that come back when you least expect it). I like 'em both but the white one is probably more my style. I can probably come up with fast in a pinch if that red one isn't sporty enough for ya.
