Great thread and bitchen cars. "Competition Orange" in the 60's was prevalent and a favorite of mine. Strangely, I don't care for yellow cars except those that wear OEM color.

After painting a project years ago with the brightest pumpkin orange I could find , my buddy’s wife called it “ Oh that guy orange”. Of course, I said, whatta ya mean? ...and she says, well whenever someone asks, do you know Rick?, and they say Rick who?, just respond with, “he’s the guy with that orange car”. ...OH, THAT GUY !
