Only thing that dash lacks is more miles on the odometer.

IMG_3805.JPG The trunk is almost done. The uprights with the rumble hinges I think I'll sand and paint dark brown, there's no room for upholstery between them and the lid as it opens. IMG_3806.JPG IMG_3807.JPG

Looks great Brian. Yet another tire and wheel combo? It's like keeping up with my wife and her shoes.

I know, it's out of hand. In my defense, the total expense for all three sets is about $400, or, a couple of pairs of shoes...;)

Thanks, I like those too, although they represent an era about 10 years prior to the style of the car. Just ignore the '61 steering wheel with them on!

So, this happened. First drive. Was going to go a mile down to the corner and back, but thought I'd rather drive to the Gilmore car museum. It's PERFECT. Fast, taut suspension, tight steering, GREAT brakes, rattle and squeak free. I could NOT be happier right. An added bonus, got it titled, so life is pretty dammed good right now. 28378073_10216332676772175_3298587588119226314_n.jpg 28378432_10216332676332164_3530572415371933125_n.jpg 28468709_10216332675932154_3946276551140649998_n.jpg

  23. It's been great following this build Brian, and the top of it all for me, is seeing your rockin your Gold Chainers club plaque.
    Congratulations.

Unfortunately I just took my plaque off the Hudson, as it's going to a new home.

Haha! The rationale is: Chevy 283, Chevy drivetrain, Chevy headlights and taillights, Chevy wheels. I like to be different, just like everybody else! :p
