Event Coverage 2018 Detroit Autorama - My 561 Pictures

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by bossmustang, Mar 4, 2018.

  1. Arrived at 8, entered at 9, stayed 8 hours, logged 15,000 steps. The place was packed. Good times.

The first 8 vehicles posted are part of "The Great 8" and were the finalists for the coveted Ridler Award. On Sunday evening, the silver 1957 Chevrolet 150 was announced as the Ridler winner.

^ Ditto. I've only been once, but really like this show - especially also all the race cars, model cars, memorabilia, stockers, etc.. There didn't seem to be a lot of pre-show buzz on the HAMB this year. Or did I miss a few threads? Gary

IMO, there's something really wrong, when the interior and under hood of an old car, looks like a new Lexus. Thanks for posting.

THANK YOU for posting. Just GREAT photos! I don't know how you got such excellent shots. I was there on Saturday and it was 'way too crowded to get photos such as this. You captured fine details in your shots that were hard to see even if you were there in person. Thanks again.

Thank you for taking the time to take the fantastic photos and share them with us. I don't know if it is your skill, your camera, the building's lighting system or a combination of all but those are some of the best indoor car shows I have seen anywhere.
Now I looks like I might have to add that show to the bucket list.

Appreciate coverage of show - when I cover an event my pics are taken at angles that will not show modern hi-tec wheels. Etc - that stuff is for other sites
