Pin stripe the cream and be done with it, don't look back. It's over the top already and will look fantastic with the top color!
    PS; don't forget the sunglasses....:D

Now that I’ve seen it, I definitely like the Creme the most. Not a fan of the wood grain. It’s a hot rod, not a restorod. But that’s jut my opinion, you’re the one who’ll be staring at it every time you drive the car.

I was surprised that it looks as good as it does
    There's that word "classy" again
That is making this decision tougher.
I built the glove box purposely for the Ray Bans. I'm just glad no one suggested chroming the dash!
I have Mitch on speed dial. Maybe I should email him the pictures of the dash?
And that is a great post. I want the car to scream hot rod!

Man that is tough, it's like looking at 2 beautiful women.
How do you choose  Just pick the one that makes you feel good :D
    Good luck :D
I'm staying solidly in the cream camp, wood grain is for fancy furrin cars ;):D

How about woodgrain the glove box door and the raised portion on the left and leave the rest creme ?

I think that when you get it pinstriped it would look best with it all maroon with creme colored striping!

  16. SOO what is your problem memory loss ?? I heard about it happinin to guys your age. !! More JACK or Johnny black label might bring ya around. I like DEWARS purple label but you mortgage folk usually buy bar scotch.

Who do you think keeps the liquor stores profitable? I'm more of a bourbon drinker personally, Maker's 46, Blantons, Bullitt Rye. But I do keep a decanter of Jameson Black Barrel for special occasions (like everyday after work).

  18. Should I happen to fall on hard times I might headto WA & see if you have a guest room so I could drive your roadster as I would have sold mine & you could then get so some good Dewars purple label. I don't think wally sells it tho. I would drive like it was mine honest engine. ha ha Mine never got that kind of HP runs on Kerosene most of the time.

I didn't start the day off with this option in mind but it is now.

The problem is that each choice is cool and looks good. But each choice is also more about theme and attitude of the car than just color. Maybe it will appear clearer through the bottom of a glass later when I get home.

Full Maroon would be my choice.

  21. i think cream, if you pinstripe the car........nice styling touch and sporty.
i think the wood grain, melds with the interior best........as said very classy detail.
the maroon works, expected, usual..........can't go wrong but is average and workman.

This is well said and logical.
The interior is going to be 2 tone leather, dark and tan. does that effect anyone's decision?

I'm with Sancho used like the Creme but that wood grain looks better.

All maroon. Everything else just makes it look "busy" and detracts from the overall picture.

  28. What about leathered dash?
    image.jpeg
Because the wood grain painted on a metal dash looks like someone is trying too hard
    image.jpeg

Billy, You'd never ever think of building your dash out of wood so why would you fake that you did?

It's just me, but I like the solid color maroon, especially with a tu-tone interior. It might get kinda busy. Some striping (very little) and it's done. This from the guy with the bling-y dash...
