What's the direction of this build? I might have some more parts you can use.

The direction I would like to go for this build is a mild custom (kinda tail dragger)

    Hello everybody,
I would like everyone to know that i still have not forgotten about this car. Wrestling season came up and I am working toward my Eagle Scout. Things have been kind of hectic lately and I have not been able to work much. Wrestling season has now ended and I will be working again soon to save up money to work on it. Again I have NOT forgotten about this car build. I am simply picking my priorities.

Sweet! I’ve got some pretty rare fender skirts I’m hoping might fit your car. They are 52 Chrysler but for an Imperial so I’m not 100% they’ll fit your Windsor

Awesome! I’ll try to get some on my car soon so we can check to make sure they’re the right fit!

I have gotten some measurements from my car. The opening is 25”x12”
Could you check to see if the skirt you have would fit?

Hmmm...the 12” height is right but my skirts are 40” long

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing great. I have a lot of updates with the plans for my car.
First of all, my plans for the car is to get it driving by the end of the summer. Nothing major, just be able to drive around the parking lot.
I think it would be a much cheaper and easier idea to use a ridge reamer for my engine. It would help get it running faster and for now, that’s what I want. just get my car running and driving soon.
Also, I would really like to put a manual transmission in the car. If anyone knows of a manual transmission for sale in Missouri, I would much appreciate it if you could let me know about it.
I will be working very hard over the summer, so I will be making a lot of money to pay for things that I might need to get this thing up and running.
Lastly, my eagle project has recently been approved by the eagle board, so I will be spending a lot of time on that. But as soon as I finish that I will be working super hard on my car.
    Thanks!
    Jake

As much as I (we???) would like to see you working on the car PLEASE don't let it keep you from working on your Eagle Scouting.

After a long past few months, my eagle project is done. It’s been hard because I have started playing football again, but I’ve got the project done, got my application approved by the council, and all that is left is the final eagle board of review. So I will get started on my car again as soon as I can.

I have re-evaluated my goals with my car. I had previously said that I would like to get it running by the end of the summer, but I have moved that back. I would like to have it running and driving around the parking lot by the end of spring.

Congrates on the Eagle project, one more thing done. So on to the next and it's good to see you're realistic about your schedule. Now go out there and hit someone.

  23. Sir, as a Cub Master I appreciate your dedication and determination towards Scouting and wish you the best in all that you do. What position do you play?

I play left guard on offense, and I’m on the goal line defense

I'm a third generation Eagle and cubmaster. Good job staying on task there--it can be difficult.

PM me your address. I think i have a set of lowering blocks in the shop.

Maybe if you specifically set aside an hour or two per week to get a bit done on the car you will get the job done... slow and steady wins the race. I understand it's hard with homework, girlfriends, chores, and eagle practice it must be tough to find time but it's easy to lose motivation if your car sits there and you don't see any progress

Jake, glad ya got the Eagle project done, my nephew just got his done. Just checking in to see how the car is coming? Did ya get the 331 hemi running that I gave you? Some pics and updates on this project would be cool to see.
