This is my setup. 4" drop chassis engineering front axle, reverse eye spring in the front with 4:25/4:50-16's and a 6" Z in the back with the crossmember mounted below the frame for axle clearance since I run a spring behind setup with a reverse eye spring and 7:50-16 rear tires.

No channel, gonna do a 3" chop. 276" flathead, top loader and 3:54 banjo rear.

IMG_6504.JPG Got rusty bits cut out of my windshield frame and welded back. Cut/bent/welded my wonky cowl brace back sorta straight. Works for me!

image.png Just went through this whole thread.....really like this sedan. Looks like it has a Rolling Bones style front spring behind the axle set up. I'm sure it was built before the RB's popularized that way of front end lowering though. Sure would like to see some chassis pic's.....including the rear suspension too.

Yes, Found my '30 Roadster body in 1962 on the way home from church one Sunday. It was free for cleaning out the garage. That was the start of the project and my life as a flea market vendor, I was 12 year old at the time. Bob

Here's my '30 A-bone aka "Bonita". In all her unchopped glory :) The sbc is going to give way to a Ford engine later this year.
