I know what you're saying, but to me, the El Matador is one of the greatest customs of all time. It bridges the gap between eras like no other car did. You can see the influence of the original custom styling, but also the way it breaks through to conquer new horizons. If a layman looked at 60s customs, he wouldn't think its the same genre as 50s customs, but lay his eyes on the Matador and the pieces all fit. It's one of my favorites.
