a few months ago a guy stopped by and took pictures and we talked a bit. He wrote a article about my collection. It just came out in the Old Cars Weekly News & Marketplace Magazine . The guy pretty much got everything correct.

the engine isn't stuck on the Metro. I pulled the carb (I was surprised to find its a two bbl carb) because the air cleaner was missing. and the Mud Wasp had packed it full. I took it apart and cleaned it. but haven't got around to trying to crank it up. I have the cyls soaking with diesel and auto trans fluid. But wanted to pull the oil pan to be certain its clean and the pickup screen isn't clogged. There is a big following for those Metros. they even have a facebook page. It think mine is a 1940's model
