When you can pawn off the sanding to someone lower on the totem pole that's when you know you are the BOSS LOL. :) Spent my first few years in the bodyshop becoming a sanding and taping master before being allowed to pick up a spray gun.

I'm not a big fan of yellow but in your case if you did it would work. The gold choice your thinking would be killer.

I really hope that was just posed picture and you are not spraying that primer without a mask and not just a particle mask. I mean a real painting mask. You should actually have a suit on as that stuff can soak through your skin. I know it is a hassle ,but your long term health is a real concern.
One of my friend's was found in a parking lot where he collapsed after painting his car. The doctor's said if his wife had not found him and called an ambulance he would have died from oxygen depravation. The paint coated his lungs.

I would have to say black would be my choice. I do understand wanting to stay yellow but if it’s time for a change only you know what’s best for you

  15. The big block looks right at home in there. If you keep the bellhousing in the stock location a little firewall massaging may have to happen.
    Block sanding, ugh..

My dads roadster pickup was Daytona yellow you might ask your father in law if he can remember that far back lol I can say it was a more pale yellow than what your car was but still pretty bright I have a good pic of it here at the house
