Man, you have the A pillar massaging down to a science. Do you do very many where the A pillar is left the stock position, and stretch the roof?

  4. Flop, any in progress shots of how to get this out of that ?

And when you lay the posts back, do you roll the header forward enough to keep the windshield glass all on the same plane ? Seems like the missing pie piece in the roof would be much wider than the missing pie piece at the base of the windshield post.

Also the picture you zoomed in on clearly isn’t tacked in place

  7. I'm simply fascinated by your work.
And that's why I wanted to see some "In progress shots".
Though I could catch a pointer or 2 on the finer details.

I really really struggled with that area on my project. I got started on top of someone else butchering a chop then tried to fix it so that made it worse, And I know I need to redo it.
The left side of the blue tape lines up nice where the windshield frame seats. But The right side of the blue tape where the outside of the frame shows is for shit - while the outside leading edge of the A pillar sorta lines up - its wrong. The door frame needs some more attention, I'm wide below the curve and tight above the curve but I'm holding off until the bigger A pillar problem is corrected.

I know those are the stock hinges on the outside and lots of people like that look... but is there a safe and 'cool' way to hang the doors without the exterior hinges?

    I'm just curious, is all.

thanks for sharing the progress shots.

Amazing. I would say there are just a handful that can do the work you do. Your eye for detail blows my mind.

  28. I'll keep an eye out for it.
I was going to make it my weekend mission to track you down at the show. Always seem to have just missed you.
Looking at the art work is cool, talking with the artist is better.
