Hot Rods My 17 year long project coming to a close.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 2many projects, Feb 19, 2018.

  1. Started with a gray primer roller project and lost interest along the way several times.
Got short on funds many times, got delayed with parts being unavailable, ability lacking and many times I just lacked ambition. I became content to drive it in primer with a blanket interior just because it was cool and worry free about chips, scratches. It was my no maintenance-worry free ride.
My wife rode me hard the past 2 years to finish it.
She was embarrassed to be seen in it any longer looking so unfinished.
It’s titled to her so she finally got her wish.[IMG][IMG]

  9. I too need to show my old beater some more love,it's been close to 20 years of no interior to speak of and there is more bare metal showing as the original paint is finally giving up. HRP

  11. I apologize to all for posting one picture twice. I can't figure out how to dump it. I never admitted to being smart.

  12. Very clean job.
The ''before'' version isn't something I would have kicked out of the garage, though!

Nice looking car, I didn't notice an extra photo. If you hit edit just remove the ATTACH notice and the unwanted photo will be gone. Bob

Blood, sweat, and years! Looks great and well worth the wait. When you get around to changing it in the future I would start with the tires...

Yep, you just have to figure out which attach is for the photo you want to delete.
It should show three attach segments in that frame and two of the will have the same photo number on them.
Great job on the car even if it took that long to finally get finished. You still aren't even close to me for going a length of time without getting one finished though.

  26. Thank you The37Kid. Your directions on editing proved well.
Now I’m starting to feel semi computer literate ( a little anyhow)
