    Hey HAMB,
I am just sending out a Post looking for Good Ideas on storing my front clip? I am like most, not a lot of space in the garage... I did do a search, but I did not have any luck finding what I was looking for.

For storing my clip, I was thinking about hanging it from my roof trusses? has anyone else done that?

    thanks for the help!

I get that hanging it is fine too do, I am just looking to see what people have done. And my clip is still all together. My biggest challenge is my ceiling is only 9ft.

Hi. With that ceiling height you may not have enough room for it to even fit above the roof of the donor car. So how about standing it on end with the grill upward in a corner and building a deep shelf above so none of that floor space is wasted. You could even store stuff on the floor inside the upright clip. just a thought of one option.

I like the idea! I was only thinking about storing it up against the ceiling.

if it won't fit in one piece, take it apart.

  10. I removed the front clip from a 37 Chevy and stood it upright, made a trolley for it so it does not sit on the ground and can be moved easily , put a cover over it, and stored it outside.
But it doesn't snow or rain here, so leaving stuff outside might not be good for you.

  13. Stand it up against the wall where you have all this stuff, you can rearrange all the parts in-between the fenders. HRP

I'd go with Hrp's suggestion of standing it against the wall and tucking what ever in between the fenders. The hood might need to hang up from the rafters unless you put it on the nose and then stand it up.
