Did you buy a lottery ticket on the way back? Man, you hit the jackpot with that. I can only dream of being so lucky. I am always a day late and a dollar short to find these deals.
*** Great deal WR. *** Reminds me of two nice 1934 Chevy projects i bought about 25 years ago from two different sellers on the same day and about 100 miles apart. Local Saturday newspaper was the big deal then for vintage cars and you had to be fast with your telephone for the bargains. The first Chevy was on the trailer at about 10.00AM. The second one early in the afternoon. Unloaded the second car next to the first one and guess what, one was a Standard and one was a Master Deluxe. Two completely different models.
Beats the tar out of the last couple of "parts cars" that I went to look at that were overpriced to boot. Seems like guys in this area think their parts cars are worth more than running examples of the same vehicle. Looks like a fun project if you keep it simple.
That looks like a pretty nice car,you should be able to sell it for a profit and find a real parts car. HRP
