    bath tubs.jpg

Philly Auto Show: “Totally functional, mechanically, that is The Bath Tub Car was created and built by Bob Reisner of Long Beach, California. Two antique French bath tubs serve as passenger compartments, while commode up front is driver's seat. Tissue holders serve as accelerator and brake pedals. Engine is dual-supercharged Chrysler with Torque-flite transmission. All metalwork is plated in gold or brass...no chrome is used."

I've commented on this picture before. I now have a 56 Pontiac hardtop and I had that exact same pedal car though mine wasn't two tone.

    Hey HR32,
Is this color photo an early version of Fred Castro's Ford powered T from the San Diego Prowlers? It was/is one of the best daily driven T roadsters around. Show quality, but driven to all So Cal events, from the late 60s to the present times.

Sadly, Fred is no longer with us, today. But, this T roadster is owned by Dan Biggs and is for sale at the last notice sent to me. Contact the SD Prowlers:

I believe these two pictures are from 64 Indy. Koffel's "Flintstone Flyer" and Brazee Bros. "Little Giant" a Dover regular.

Can anyone supply some information about this picture that swi66 posted? Aside from the very cool rod, it looks like a Spartan sales lot in the background. My wife's parents bought a new Spartan back in 1952, in Colton CA. I know the chances are slim - but could this be Colton back in the day? 27858944_10213509604285757_4011633807965014986_n.jpg
