Hey guys, we just moved jalopyjournal.com to a brand spanking new server. It's a pretty serious hardware upgrade and the first server move we've had in about 5 years. As such, there are probably going to be some problems on the site that got missed during testing. If you run across any bugs or have any problems, please let me know on this thread. Also, keep in mind that it takes as long as 72 hours for propagation to the new server to go through worldwide. This means that many will probably be seeing the old server (where the forum is closed) for a while. Anyway... Thanks for your patience fellas.
Still getting notifications on my Android phone that are blank when opened. Still getting red X's in place of photos... Mostly in the vintage photo thread. I don't have a problem seeing them on my PC. Sent from my Moto G Play using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I just noticed a strange sort of “bug “ Ryan In trying to load a few pictures the pictures upload and end up rotated sideways when they’re not that way in the source format. Here’s an example. A picture of my front Lincoln brakes. As you can see it loads the picture sideways
Yes uploaded from my I phone 7 . I’m not sure how it can be a Apple problem because I have uploaded the same pictures previously with no problems at all. A lot of my pictures have been uploaded from my phone. Here’s another picture I have uploaded on my build thread and also on the t bucket thread. Before today that picture uploaded fine.

You know I’m jealous that you’re able to play softball tonight. When we were in Texas (Dallas area) over Christmas for a couple of weeks it was great to be away from the snow. Instead of softball I’ll probably get my exercise this weekend using my snowblower
I don’t play. I got a 12 year old daughter that’s a bit of a prodigy. I’m at the softball fields every night.... and most weekends.
Awesome. That’s a great part of having kids. When mine were growing up it was similar, with my son I hung out in hockey arenas all over the country for practices games and tournaments. I miss those days sometimes.
I have several parts classified ads. I needed to edit one...did a search by my name and it came up no results found. Scrolled to page 5 to find the post the hard way and edited it. Refreshed the parts classifieds, searched again by name and only the recently edited thread popped up.
Everything is running at breakneck speed now. Chrome browser on computer and Chromebook. The app on Verizon Samsung droid phone, Samsung tablet, all perfect. Thanks for all the effort!
Let me guess enabled exif in PHP? It's caused by phones storing the image as it was physically taken and displaying it in the proper orientation. Works great until support is missing somewhere down the line. I think Xenforo strips the exif after upload like Facebook does but before it does that it checks the orientation for adjustment.
