What is it in? Im using an Edelbrock 573 with unknown (bought the setup complete off epay) progressive linkage in a 54 F350 but it would be the same in any original Y Block car or truck also. It all works fine with the stock on the firewall throttle assembly.

Here's my setup. Edmunds (Fenton is the same) with 97's. Outer 2 are hooked together, with the progressive linkage rod running to the front one. Throttle linkage goes to center carb. All joints are heim ends. Notice that I had to slightly bend the progressive link to clear the fuel inlet of center carb. Hope this helps.

    Cool, thanks cornfed.

it looks like all the linkage is on the drivers side?

that was one of the problems I was having with the distributor on the
    pass.

286merc, the car is a 30 ford tudor, so not really stock linkage.
but thanks for the input, you have alot of knowledge of these motors.
    I read your posts often.

Next question to anyone running this set up, what size jets are you using
    or starting point.

My motor is a 292 bored .60 over, healthy cam, big valve heads, headers
    and most importantly, three 97's.

    thanks again for the help.
