Installed a Ford 9" in my 61 and now needing a longer rear DS section. Looks like my choices are Scotty's and Inland. Who do you guys like?
I’ve only used Inland but only because I always forget about Scotty’s. Inland is expensive but the work is good. I plan to try Scotty’s next time.
Local company in Hurst Tx. is very good. They give you a form to fill out. If your measurements are correct the shaft fits. Used them about 15 times
Went by Inland yesterday. $300 to retube the rear section. Plus extra to disassemble the driveshaft. I’m on hold until I figure out if that’s the route I want to go. Scotty’s is a drive for me or I would have went there as well.
