I'll work on some later. Unfortunately I don't have a decent scanner setup at the moment so it'll peoproba be lo-fi photos of lo-fi printed photos! I'm sure you all will get the idea and appreciate anyways.

 

The Doug Rice car is now owned by Don Richardson of Hoquiam, Aberdeen washington,I still see it at shows around the North West. Looks good as ever. Ron R

 

I posted this picture else where. But I guess it belongs here. Hank LaShey's Bantam. 261 Chevy with Wayne head. I really like this car and wish it would come back.

 

Früher war alles besser. I love that old pictures.

 

I talked to the family and they still have it and plan to 'run it again'

 

I heard that several years ago. I wonder what it needs to be legal today.

 

Just to clarify pic 1 was taken by C Hunter but the car belonged to Gil Ayala.

 

Hank was the guy that turned me on to LSR. I miss him.
His son Hawk has the car, but he is wrapped up in his business building custom cycles.
Hope to see it run again too. I have a bunch of pics of it on the salt(35mm).......I should get them scanned and post them.

 

We have Hank's name and art still on our car,,

I found some photos of Hank and his car......most were pretty bad exposures(35mm). Here's a couple of the better ones. From 1990 I think? Must have been the first year he ran, no number on the car in some pics.

At the lasts lakes meet, a friend of Salt Circus came to me and showed me a photo of this car in a shop. The word is that it is being worked on.

 

That's great to hear. I hope it makes it back to the salt/lakes.
