  5. I'm the only one who will say it, but I like channelled and un-chopped East Coast style. But that's just me

  8. Honestly it boils down to what do you like.

I'm tall so a channeled car doesn't work for me but they do look good when all the elements come together,in my opinion a channeled car also looks better with a chopped top.

If I were building the car I would use the Deuce rails. HRP

I like both channeled and duece rails, but to be honest, I also like just a hi boy A on A bones, maybe best of all.

You say the body is solid so why cut a perfectly good floor out it? The reason all those east coast cars where channelled was that the floors had rotted out of the bodies.
    Do the Bair Rails.

  16. I like the comfort of a full height car. If the floor is good don't cut it. Duece rails sound good.

Me too....but channeled only if you are small.
Deuce frame is a lot more work.
Sitting on top of an A frame looks great and has a more old time look, is way easier to do.....way less cutting of the vintage tin, and that is what I would do. Like this one!

  19. They are cool like that-
Way More ground clearance than any jacked up 4x4 on the dealer floor.
The aprons give you 9" of coverage down there, the deuce frame gives you 3" of drop and 6" of coverage.

See, to me that's the shizznit right there. That's a better look than deuce rails. I realize we're in the minority, but oh well. My preference is my preference, and I like THAT!

I'm inclined to agree with these fellers...

  29. I vote both
32 rails with a slight channel looks killer
Sometimes As look awkward on the 32 frame
Or section about 1 1/2 out of the height of the 32 rail profile
