Here's a neat photo of Mari and Elmer George with mechanic/engineer Bob Debisschop. Debisschop is one of the mostly unheralded people behind the scenes that played a big role in both car design and engine development. Last I heard he's still somewhat active and living in northern California.

BTW, the concrete block building in the background is on the far east side of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway property and served as the headquarters for Mari's H.O.W. race team. The building is there today and serves as the restoration shop for the IMS museum.
