  4. Well guys it always seems the wagons I can afford are the ones that been sitting a while. LOL. Lets see there was the gold Buick wagon that was sitting a while I fixed up, there was the 56 Buick wagon that sat for awhile I got,Then there was the Olds wagon I got that was sitting in the garage for 10 years and then the 56 Chrysler Windsor. It has sat for a while. Tomorrow I am going to look at a Ford Torino that's been sitting 6 to 8 years.{still hopping to get something older} But this time I am going to take my time. If I get that gut feeling tomorrow about the wagon being a money pit .I will walk away and keep looking. I will keep you all posted and Thanks. Bruce.

Haters will be shown the back door with a size 10 1/2 boot.

Sorry to see it go, Bruce, but now it's time for the next chapter. I'm sure you'll find something cool, don't worry my friend. Take your time looking around (And don't rush into a money pit) Mike

I'm a bit partial to those little 64/65 Buick/Olds Regal. Cutlass wagons myself. The ease of getting chassis parts is one thing plus a lot of upgrades can be done with stock parts.
The 57 Olds and Buick 4 door hardtop wagons really spin my wheels though.

    Bruce,

I agree with Danny. It sure wouldn’t hurt make an offer. You might end up with something better than you thought possible. Whatever you do, Good Luck!

  17. Hay Bruce, I know you will find the right wagon, and we will all be helping you look. I gotta say, I really liked that 55 Pontiac, that {aerocolor} posted.;) If it has a solid body, it sounds like a good deal to me. But keep saving, and you may find one at the spring auto fair, or Carlisle swap meets. Let me know, and you can go with me. I'm great at helping others spend their money. Lol  Ron...

Just saw a 1956 Desoto Firesweep Shopper on Chattanooga Craigslist that was posted 16 hours ago. Says it has a 325 ci v8 w/ 2 speed automatic. Says it runs. Has 11 pics and doesn't appear to be too terrible.
Ad shows the seller is in Old Fort, TN. He's asking $10,500 OBO. Seller's phone number is 423 457 9249.
It's a big old boat, fins and everything.
