Nebraska car. 8BA, original drive train. Highway gears. Good long trip car. Had it close to 15 yrs. built in my own garage. It’s a keeper.

I'm from down in Coos Bay, and I'll keep an eye out for your coupe when I come to carshows up the valley!

 

dont do lotsa shows....It presents very well, but its not that kinda car...on purpose. My interest lies in driving it...it has almost 17k on it in 3 years.

I whole-heartedly second this. The Glen Curtiss Museum is a very cool place and worth a few hours to check out. Hammondsport is pretty close to Warsaw.

You're also going to be close to Le Roy NY (home of Jello™!) and if your timing works, Jesse Cootes' Old Soul Hot Rod Shop throws a backyard BBQ around the first weekend in August. It's a good time (and a darn fine meal). Lots of cars, good people.

Thanks Carp for the well wishes, much appreciated. Its quite a journey, this grief thing, but I'm pretty sure I'll be ok as time passes on, but still retain and remember the good times. Sandy LOVED this car and riding in it. No teardrop this trip. Me, some spares, some clothes, some tools, sleeping bag and pillow, AAA membership...and an empty visa card!!
