I'd say maybe 2-3 hours and most of that was shaping. This is a personal car so I can only work on it after hours and I really only get a few hours here and there a well on it

A proper buck has compound curves. Your more the halfway there when you think about it.

philo, that changes a bit. Sometimes maroon then at times dark metallic green like the ones I have attached.

Had some fun last night playing around with photo shop, the window opening needs to be slightly tilted towards the back to match the roof. was not able to make that small change on my program i use. 1938 zephyr art skoty chops.jpg1.jpg

20180206_205721-01.jpeg 20180206_210053-01.jpeg got to put in a few hours tonight, i trimmed back the upper portion of the catwalk panel to the stock opening of a 1938 zephyr convertible. i also added the mounting flange surface for the convertible top, once i get the pieces all fine tuned im going to weld it all together so its one big piece to install after i make my inner structure

I extended my catwalk 13" compared to the stock 1938 Zephyr panel which is the flexible shape pattern you see on top of the panels I made. I personally think the stock convertible top is to long and looks awkward. [IMG]

For anyone curious this is how I made my wire form, I took a external form of a zephyr catwalk and then flipped this over and made a internal wire form that I have installed and using for my panels. I can also use this to make a wood buck which I will be doing as Well since I've had a few request for this same panel. 20180207_172913.jpg

    Looking great so far.
It really makes me wanna get out there and get started on my '36 3w. Gotta get other stuff done first though.
Can't wait to see more progress.
