I usually spend the winter in FL, but this winter I'll be in the Springs for the next 4-5 months and I'm interested in some auto and motorcycle events around 100 mile radius of Colorado Springs, CO. Looking for club meetings, cruise-nights, car shows, swap meets and bike events of any kind, but primarily interested in traditional hot rods & customs, street rods, race cars, muscle cars and bikes. Let me know whats going on in the area. Looking for something fun to do! Thanks... "MONTANA"

When I was stationed at Ft.Carson in the 70's there used to be some heavy duty street racing around Colrado Springs. The cops put speed bumps in the roads out in the middle of nowhere to stop us. Garden of the Gods was the best until the speed bumps slowed us down.
Always watch it because I bought my first Hamb friendly ride the Colorado Springs police auction. 59 ford panel truck. Never know what will show up there. Dragon man is out east a bit. There's some cool junkyards out east too.
Polar Bear swap meet at the Adams county fairgrounds on Saturday the 27th. Tri State swap meet in Denver the next weekend.
Maybe not be your cuppa, but the Buick Club of America National show will be June 19-23 in Lone Tree. Open to public for spectating. FREE. Come on up. Ben
Yes! I went out there just before New Years. His hot rod museum isn't open until April. The gun shop is pretty cool though. He also has a military museum, gun range and a couple of moto-cross tracks. Pretty cool place!
Thanks guys! Going to the Tri-State swap meet in Denver this week end. Don't need anything in particular, but you never know what a guy might find. http://www.tristateswapmeet.com/
I will be selling there, upstairs back wall. Mostly Mopar parts. Stop in and say hi, have an extra chair to take a load off.
I used to live near hoof beat and Davis, there was always some kind of gunfire noise coming from there. The full auto stuff was neat and every once in a while someone dropped some coin in the 50 cal.
I went up to the Tri-State Swap Meet in Denver today. That place is HUGE! They had everything a guy would need and most of it was pretty reasonable. I did see a '32 5-window body only for $22k. It was near perfect condition, almost ready for paint. That might have been a little high, but where are you going to find another original body? I looked for you DARTRACER and asked around for someone selling Mopar parts, but I couldn't find you. I did find a guy called "mopar mark", but he didn't know either. Anyway, it was a good meet and I was glad I went! Maybe we will meet up some other time.
Nook kustom kar show. February 9,10 &11. State fair grounds in Pueblo. Great indoor show. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
