Technical Tires for Highboy

    Im running Firestone blackwall tires, 600.16 fronts and 7.50 16 rears. Are there any radial tires available at local tire stores ( not Coker ) that look right. Pictures would be good. Thanks Joe

    Radials will probably never "look right" to some but it's more practical to me. Y
    ou can get the sizes you want pretty easy. Go to Summit's site and go to the tires section. You can choose heights, wheel sizes, etc and browse thru and find sizes you want. I spent a lot of time at shows looking for what looked "right" to me and kept picking the same sizes over and over.

    265/75R15 rear and 165/80R15 fronts gave me the rubber rake I liked the looks of. Then it's just a matter of picking treads and sidewalls.

    I am running 265 75 r15 bf Goodrich long trail ta on the rear they have an almost plain side wall . another idea would be to stay with the 16" rims and go with a 215 75 r 16 tire for a dually truck but watch the ply rating, most tall 16" tires for trucks will be 10 ply.
