Great car Danny! Great plan to drive as is and later update to a flathead. Are fenders in your future?

Danny first of all great carother than the banger, but you need to think about the flat other than Brenda's stationwagon. have you ever even driven a hotrod without a sbc just sayin Tom

Ya know Danny, taking that package tray out is a PIA so, why bother with it and just sell it to me! :)

    Nice score!

    How cool is that!!
    I too am jealous.
    I’m am happy for you.
Brenda is VERY understanding or very pissed ..
Keep the banger and run it for a while. That makes it special.
    Just wow.

  19. Thanks guys, this will not be a quick build like some I have done in the past and my main focus is to remove the package tray and gain some much needed leg room, being a 6' 4" Neanderthal I need as much room as possible and the coupe does have more leg room than the deuce pickup.

Not really,I traded the mordor for this car.

Having put many eoad miles in the small confines of a Deuce pickup, this coupe has a lot more room.

I've had chopped cars in the past but I am too tall for them anymore, besides a 5 window looks good chopped or not to me.

I'll keep you in mind if that happens.

Thanks Larry,as far as the engine nothing is written in stone, although I don't dislike red it wouldn't have been my first choice but i can live with it and it's well done.

Rocky,I am told it is indeed a Teas seat and for a old fart like myself it is very comfortable.

I built a T when I was in my teens and I haven't wanted one since,if and when I pull the 4 banger out I am sure someone would want it. HRP

Not sure if it was rode hard, but it was definitely put away wet! Lol
Good score Danny, I never thought that mordor was you.

  23. Heed your fellow hambers; don't succumb to the false hot rod prophets that preach the gospel of mounting big headlights as low and as far forward as possible.:eek:

Leave the lights where they belong!:):)

  24. Thank you sir,I am leaning toward a flatty but at this stage of the game who knows?

The original fenders, running boards, headlights, and bumpers are available,I was just short on cash yesterday so sometime in the future I will add those to the inventory.

    Thank you Robert.

As many as you can afford if you suffer from the addiction! :D sadly I can't afford as many as I want.

    Thank you.

    Indeed it does.

    Thanks Josh.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

    My intent for now.

Tom,I have had a few cars with Flatheads, my old Black 32 Fordoor had a nice built flatty and I put thousands of miles on it with no problems.

That one excites me also. HRP

It was a long tiresome trip in torrential rain but yeah,it was worth it.

Get your check book out and we will talk! :D

    Thank you.

Understanding and truthfully a little pissed although she went with me,she really did enjoy driving the 4 door.

    Thank you

You are not as tall & would probably fit better, like I said previously, get your check book out and call me. :D

    Time will tell.

Thank you Ron,The red street rod sedan went to Texas last year when I traded for the primered 4 door, the primered 4 door is now in Tennessee. HRP

  25. Well Danny I don't like that car at all. Uh I guess I could learn to like it, I'll have to make room for it and empty my neighbors trailer, probably have to borrow some ramps it would lead as easy as my Crosley did. I'll be down Saturday to pick it up. ;)

Looks like you got a new project fit for a king, I'm happy for ya my friend.
