Now that most everyone on here has seen all the entries for the AMBR award who do you think will win the big one?
I like the Chad Adams roadster but it may be hard to beat the Ayala/Dye or Ladd/Meyers entries because of their history.
My vote is for the Dye roadster. Not so much for it's history even though that makes it so very special but because it just flat has The Look. The others are all super nice cars but you seen one jet shiny black 32 roadster you seen them all in some respects. One is beautiful but is maybe too much like the Doane Spencer car in a lot of ways. I'd still take 30 photos of it if I saw it in person but next to the Dye car it takes a back seat.
I would like to see the Dye roadster win but things like the mismatched hubcaps don't lend themselves well to winning these types of rewards so I am not holding my breath but you never now. My guess is the black '36 will win.
My personal favorite is the black 36 since it was built here in Nebraska and I've seen parts of it from the beginning.
A Real race car roadster won!! Awesome!!! The Martins are fantastic too, well deserved! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I'm sure the winner had outstanding fit, finish, etc, (yawn) but the Dye roadster just knocks my socks off from every angle.
How can the Martin roadster win over the Bob Morris roadster? I have been around many cars, and the Morris roadster hands down is one of the best ever built. Who were the judges this year? What was the format of judging? Many many questions come to mind. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
