Hot Rods New project - 1932 Ford 5 window coupe

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Jan 28, 2018.

  1. Well guys,we spent 13 1/2 hours on the road and it never quit raining, the traffic was a nightmare and I'm beat but it was worth the time & effort!

Jim & I ended up making a deal and I am now the proud owner of a old Deuce 5 window coupe, I will have to remove the package tray because I'm too damn tall to fit comfortably.

The banger engine just ain't me but I'm gonna play with it until have the extra cash to build a flathead V8.

These photo's were taken just after pulling the car in the shop. HRP

Let me know if you need either a 59AB or 8BA complete core motor.

Very cool! How tall are you? Always love those lil coupes. Afraid they are too little...

I guess you're not going to chop it Danny? The combo of package tray removal and stock height should just give you enough room. Looks a great project and a flathead in it will top it off.

  28. Nice car. I'll buy the headlights and stands when you pull them for stockers... o_O

It’s official Danny I’m jealous as hell.
I love it and if I owned it I’d do the flathead or a 283 and it would get full fenders.

Since I dislike red interiors that would be quickly changed.

Congratulations on getting my dream car (5 window deuce) .

And did I mention that I’m jealous? :D

    Larry.

  30. Very nice! I can't even imagine starting with a car that nice. Is that a Teas seat? Comfortable?
Ha! If you yank the motor, you'll be forced to build a banger T-bucket to use that motor. The projects never end.
