Pete Aardema heads. Pete is well known for overhead cam head conversions and has been doing them for years.
Met him over here in the 80's and always catch up when we are back in USA. He concentrates now on his El Mirage and Bonneville cars. His hot rod is a 33 roadster with big block that runs Porsche overhead cam heads.

Last year we took my pops 28 a v-8 down there all the way from South Dakota thru Shit weather and roads. Get there and they put us in the middle of a three wide row. If your in the palace and not a club member I think those spots are reserved for you. IMG_1568.JPG

    Thanks for the pictures, @Sancho.
The black 38 or 39 For coupe looks too short to me (that's what she said-just saving you the trouble). Or is it just the angle of the shoot? Stunning cars. Thanks again for the pictures.

Not that it's a bad thing but seems to be more shine than suede.

I guess I'm "they" ! Due to the popularity of my building, the only way to allow more than 30 cars in there is to make the center 3 wide. If you want to participate in the most popular building at the show, don't want to park outside, one might be subjected to being in the center. That's life.

When we were there last year it sure looked as if it could have been set up with the cars being set at a 45 degree angle butt to butt in the middle and the outside set up the way they were. You guys know that building like the back of your hand so I guess you set it up the only way it could be set.

Axle setting up the suede room has proven to be a crowd favorite and brought a lot of new people into the car show scene. In my opinion it was a great idea to have the suede rooms. Can't wait to see what's showing up in Sacramento.

It might look as though cars could be parked on an angle, but there is no other way. My staff and I have tried different ways, but 3 wide in the center is the only way to put that many cars inside the building. I went back to 2 wide in the center, but due to the fact that so many people want to participate, they will gladly park in the center.
