  1. Another note: Yes , the 62 Belair 2 dr. ht was the first GM car to be commonly referred to as a bubbletop,
however, the 409/409 combo could be ordered in anything for a Biscayne 2 dr. sedan, to a 9 passenger Impala wagon.
So, maybe we shouldn't forget the Muscle Wagons either.

What about the European Fords? The cut-off date is '65 but I don't believe there is a manufacturer cut-off.

    I'm tellin'......

FWIW, the muscle car moniker was nowhere in sight in 1965, or prior.
I'm sure some hot shot scribe penned (or pinned) the tail on that donkey a few years later though. And it stuck.
I like 'em. They were a big part of my formative years, and more. Don't fly here though...usually.
If the OP replaced 'muscle car' with 'factory hot rod' in the title, we'd be golden. :D

  19. How about a day two display next year?
Period modifications, intakes, headers, wheels, and slap bars don't forget the slap bars!

    Uh, Robert, 65 and earlier.
I don't like it either but them's is the rules.
I can't even get away with posting my 67 Nova so those 68, 69, 70 are definitely verboten.
