  1. Those look like @402BOSSMAN crates ....

Looks like they will need a diagonal truss or something to keep the legs from folding like a lawn chair under @Circus Bear

  12. If you can get your headers in hand - zoomies or 40 Willys headers - then bolt them on, that will tell where the block can sit.

Make sure the crank center line isn't too high if they have that in the rules.

Nhra tracks have 24" max...berting a few seg cars are above that. Low as possible for better handling on top end also

I'm loving this! Will be awesome to see another 30's car on the SEGA circuit. Makes me think about that 35 tudor sitting in the corner of my barn. Keep up the good work!

  19. There is a big problem with hemi headers.
    See page 4, https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/truck-into-a-coupe-my-next-pet-project.850807/page-4
Almost every one of them ever made wants to start out square off the header flange.
For one, That's not the direction, flow or shape of the exhaust port. So the next fitting is an elbow then another elbow and it still hits the frame. It's asinine stupid.
Start the header flange at the direction of the port and all your problems go away. But it's more work and not easy. Starting straight is easy and everything has to be easy.
It might look off, but this in line with port shape and direction

What's your plan for the water crossover ?

  20. Where did you get that plastic cross tube tween the heads? Where do you get a real cross tube like that? I don't need a plastic one!! Also is Hot Heads the only place that sells the timing front cover that works with the BBC pump? I am leaning heavy towards a stock cover and pump but maybe it won't work with my blower - I haven't gotten that far yet. Thanks, Josh

Message_1517254226917.jpg Ok still playing with engine placement. The crank centerline was outta control and looking kinda scary so i adjusted it some more.
