  5. Had a good holiday break. Got a lot done. Added the frame from rear clip forward, basic cage in, engine and transmission in and located as to where she wants the shifter, seat mounts in, front axle narrowed and installed, ladder bars built, rear axle narrowed and installed. All in place. Need to finish cage, install the steering where she wants it, put the pedals where she wants them and keep marching on. IM015377.JPG IM015376.JPG IM015375.JPG IM015374.JPG

  8. Very cool car for the wife!

  9. Another good weekend. Seats have been located where she wants them as have the brake and clutch master cylinders and steering. Coming back apart to finish welding and detail work done. I hate transmission tunnels and firewalls, but that's next. Get it over with. SEGA banquet and anniversary this weekend so, the action (on the car ) might be a little limited. 11. Thanks. Wish I could have used the dash, but it just didn't work out. It is factory welded in, not bolted.

That's too bad. If you save it , it would make a neat "wall hanger". This little beast will definitely be one of my favorites, it' s coming along Great.

  13. The wagon will make it's first appearance at Shady Side Dragway on April 14. Probably be in primer and un-named. Car will most likely be black & blue in color to stay with the team name. Anyone have any suggestions on a name?

553C7BD7-6050-4CFB-8CBE-4E1715FECCAA.jpeg As long as it’s red white and blue any name will be alright!

Maybe it's just me...........I'd get a kick out of the juxtaposition of a red white and blue car named American Woman which was actually kinda an anti U.S. song.

"American Woman" is an anti war song and the woman in question was the Statue of Liberty.

I dont need your war machines

    Now back to the build.
