Technical 16 inch wire wheels

    Does anyone reproduce the 32 to 35 wires?
     
  2. I believe Tru Spoke makes a 50 spoke "hot rod" wire that's about as close as you're gonna get.

  7. If you want wheels that look original you might post your question in the Early V8 section of fordbarn.com. I am sure the answer will be no. Good wheels are still cheap enough that nobody could make them for less. You do realize that 1932 had 18 inch wires, 1933-34 had 17 inch and only the 1935's had 16 inch wires?

    McLean offers 16" wires. It's my understanding that he does make custom sizes but I don't know if that option is available for the general public or if they are affordable. There is a video about Ricky Bobby Rod shop on the net that refers to special custom made McLean 18" wire wheels for a Model A.

    Try truespoke.net also. They seem to have a nice selections.
