    Guess you missed the I completely rebuilt the 223 part and it's ready to go in part.

    It would be gutless with a stock 221 in it. The 223 would smoke it.

    Clifford performance and Classic Inlines is all you need to know for that engine. They pretty much can fix you up with anything for a straight 6.

    Other than that......use Crites swap mounts and put a 460 in it and shut the chevy guys up.

    Good call with the six. You wont have to kick yourself in the ass ever time you lift the hood had you done the sbc swap.

    The Y block DID come in '61. My 1961 Starliner came from the factory with a 292 "Y" block in it.

    She’s back together. Slowly. Actually drove it short distance. We’re moving to Phoenix from Oregon so hopefully get more going on it. Get it closer to being done and rolling.
