Here is my latest project. Picked it up in San Diego a month ago or so and just finished dropping it with a set of Coker Classics paired with a set of Artillary wheels and Sids 3" drop axle. First picture is how I picked it up. Has a really cool patina look to it that I will just be doing a no shine clear on top of it.

We just picked up this '59 for my 13 year old grandson. His uncle started on it 40 years ago and decided he wasn't going to finish it and gave it to my grandson. Has a 351 Cleveland already installed. Should get it done by the time he turns 16

Any closeup shots of the rearend housing, maybe before being modded or before going in.
Is this original to the truck?

Better, but hoping a straight on shot from the rear.
Looks to be the hard to find 57 (only) 1/2 ton truck housing.
These are very strong due to the lack of welded on axle tubes and they have the thickest tubes of the 9 inch housings.

Just took it off the market. 292 Y and a granny 4spd. I would love an auto behind it though.

    Some of these may be from earlier in the thread, but lost in the photobucket purge. Rest from the web. Been pretty nuts about these as long as I can recall. My neighbor "Bas" when I was a kid had the most beat farm truck ever, short big window fridge. Both doors were messed up, passenger door was baling-wired shut, driver's door he just held closed while he drove. And he always had the hammer down! 59 F100 blue white.jpg 59 F100 blue.jpg 59 F100 light blue.JPG 59 F100 long bed g-w.jpg 59 F100 panel turned uni.jpg 59 F100 primer slots.jpg 59 F100 red flames.jpg 59 F100 short blue steel.jpg 59 F100 short white slots.jpg 59 F100 step.jpg 59 F100 white slots 3.jpg 59 F100 white slots.jpg 59 F100 yellow cragar.jpg 59 F100.jpg 60 F100 3 inch drop.jpg 60 F100 63 Galaxie wagon.JPG 60 F100 a.JPG 60 F100 argentine brazil grille.JPG 60 F100 carb kings show belly burners.jpg 60 F100 green white 3.jpg 60 F100 green white.jpg 60 F100 grn.jpg 60 F100 james appleby.jpg 60 F100 light green.jpg 60 F100 needs paing.jpg 60 F100 orange chop2.jpg 60 F100 orange chop3.jpg 60 F100 primer cr.jpg 60 F100 primer cr2.jpg 60 F100 primer slots.jpg

Last few. There was a chopped red and red oxide primer shorty that I used to see at the Des Moines fairground shows back in the 80s, ran Centerline wheels (yes OT I know) and sat just right. Anyone know if it's still around?

I'm starting on a '57... In the parts gathering stage now. Lots of great ideas on this thread! 36779228_10101266645640420_7617708490454204416_n.jpg 44576946_10101343519823940_7078621968034955264_n.jpg
