My truck is the same way. It has 30,000 miles on it in 8 years with no problems.

Sorry for the long delay in posting updates on my coupe. This past year, life has gotten in the way of work on my coupe. A new grandson, a new daily driver, a new house, and getting my dad’s roadster back on the road, can take up a lot of time.

Here are some pictures of the progress so far. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Do you drill holes in the 1/2" tube for upholstery panels to snap into? Or are the panels attached permanently to the tube and the tube frames come out?

    Hooray!
Wow, I salivate over every photo you post Danny, your attention to detail is second to none. Those machined and tig welded pieces are like jewelry to this retired machinist.
And that throttle cable mount is absolutely brilliant.
Sure hate to see this all end by covering it up with the body but I'll be happy for you when you do knowing how much this kind of stuff can make the end result seem daunting.

They will get tabs welded to the tubes for the upholstery to attach to.

For those of you who don’t follow me on Facebook or Instagram, here is some updates on my coupe.

I’ve never cared for the look of a PCV valve, so I machined some special fittings to hide the inner workings of a PCV valve. I also bent up some stainless lines to go with them. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Your tubing bends are impressive. I have bent a few stainless tubes in my day and its not so easy. What kind of tubing bender do you use?
