Projects dodge modified - 292 i6

Been slowly piecing this together while also finishing an A-roadster so progress will be slow. 292 an powerglide to banjo rear. Mtr will be supercharged with wade blower and diff will end up with nz made quickchange.

 

will be making inlet manifold for blower and 3 into 2 into 1 exhaust system.

 

The body is made from a collection of different pieces and will have an opening drivers door. The quickchange is an early New Zealand design ( Ian Algie ) and when I find a foundry that can cast some more up will do a few. The first foundry I tried had the patterns for 6 months and finally admitted they couldn't do it with out too much porosity in the finished product.

 

BRO you welded the DRIVERS door shut!....oh yeah your on the other side of the world!

 

this is how it is sitting at the moment awaiting some attention.

 

Been awhile but have been working steadily on the little modified.
Stripped down and painted and final chassis assembly begun
