1962 Mercury Monterey. SOLD. Original rebuilt 292 Y-block / Auto trans Estimating 6k miles since professional shop rebuild. Reds headers, 4bbl Holley carb, '57 T-bird B intake, Alternator conversion, dual Smitthys mufflers (sounds awesome), '59 Cadillac tail lights, Lower control arms off a '64 Galaxie to eliminate the dreaded 62 bushings, interior redone... I have some extra stuff that comes with also like... Original intake/carb, tail lights... This car is not perfect and does have a couple things that will need attention in order to get it tip-top. I simply don't have the time, or maybe I've lost interest.... The car has a hesitation that is probably just carb tuning. Also doesn't seem to be shifting at the right time. Squeals upon turning, belt? Its time this baby gets the attention she deserves. I've owned the car since '08 and I VERY rarely drive it. Lots of new parts, Tons of receipts.
