  3. Sure thing Jim! I walked the pits at the finals and got everyone to sign my copy. Funny thing is 50% of them never saw the magazine. Does anyone get Hot Rod anymore?

That shot is getting the mileage!

I didn't want to post contract as it would be too devisive. It's been removed twice by SEGA so gone from facebook now. No gasser shows 14 months before or after SEGA, if you have a nostalgia show no races allowed, you may not call other cars gassers, etc.

One thing you have to understand is Quain is trying to run a business, it has to start showing a profit or it can not sustain itself. He can not afford to run it at a loss indefinitely. That means having some control over how your product is represented, that is what contracts are for.

Too many race associations, car clubs, riding clubs, etc. turn into HOA's on wheels, a small group of people trying to push their idea of what's right or how "it" should be on everyone else.

I agree wholeheartedly keep this off Tony's thread, not the place for this crap.

  16. No worries guys - I'm just glad to get to race with a well run group - its a lot of work to set up races and heard the cats to the starting line so I stay out of the logistics of it. I really liked Brainerd - so much room to stop at the top of the return road and moon people its not funny.

You can almost see the crew chief laying one on the boss man :D

  17. One more from the heat of the summer ......

Plus close to home, with current schedule I'm only looking at attending shady side and new Alabama track as definites and possibly Knoxville if the stars align. Big if though.

    Of course I'm just spectating.

Moving to Athens to be closer to where the Southeast Gassers run and now no race at Chattanooga.
Oh well Paradise is not that much further.

Hey Tony, that 10/20 date, (tba), looks like plenty of time to fit a West Coast event into the NEG schedule.
    How about it @Quain Stott

  25. Isn't that around the time of Bakersfield HRR? :) All we need is a big semi car hauler to take the cars out and back.

    Damn!
    Same weekend:mad:

  27. Ha that was my point - not enough time an money to haul the whole gang out there but man would that be cool.

Got the Jerico back from doing a magnaflux and refresh - only needed dog rings. Probably should have talked about a gear change. The car stands straight up in 2nd gear with the 4.86 rear ratio but comes out of the hole awesome. So switched to 4.56 rear and it stopped the 2nd gear crazies but it feels boggy at the launch. Hope to work on this type of stuff this year. IMG_0401.JPG IMG_0402.JPG IMG_0403.JPG
