Customs ford aod

  1. i have a aod in my shoebox that won't shift .i already set the tv cable correctly my question is if i put a cheap filter in it would it cause it not to shift

    Did you install a shifter or make any change to the valve body ? Filter shouldn't affect anything.

    Maybe some more information might help. Was it working properly before the filter change or is this a new installation?

    Tell us how you set the cable.

  5. All I did was put all the stuff that comes with the lokar shifter and kick down cable i did have to open the pan to switch the shifting lever from down to up

  6. Yes it was working before I put the lokar stuff on it .this is the second aod trans i got and the same problem .I did use the brand of filters on both trans am i missing somwthing

    Did you put a pressure gauge on it ?
