  4. I think the supposition was that it was an early model with the square roof as the fastback roofline model was a 1963 1/2 model release, much like the Mustang was a 1964 1/2 as it was released later in that year. Although, once the 1963 1/2 model was released, one had a choice of which style Galaxy they wanted.

From beginning of It's a Mad x4 World, watch the opening credits for a list of all the comedians alive in '63, they're all in it, if only in cameo.

I like the glider launcher idea, but wouldn't you have to have something that would really, really pull the cable quickly? I saw them cable launch gliders at Torrey Pines (over the world famous Black's Beach) several times and that gizmo really shot the gliders up in the air quickly, as in hole-shot fast. Think this one is up to the task? Gary

Looks similar to a truck mounted device used at Harris Hill glider port near Elmira, NY. Gliders were winched into the prevailing wind toward the edge of a plateau. Now they use an old crop duster.

Guy started a thread a few weeks ago about a similar car he had just bought. Couldn't find the thread. 26805206_2021330914817672_1774369997180832119_n.jpg

I really appreciate all of the Studebaker pictures lately. Lots of good ones that I had not seen previously. Thanks.

    Hello T,

Here you go, is this the one about the unusual, custom Ford? It is an interesting thread and I am sure it will be fabulous when finished, or what ever the outcome will be. It is unusual to say the least.
