Never have seen one of those grills used on those dodge pickups. Looks good.

I like it, but the stock 52 grill leaves a lot to be desired.
I would be looking for a fix also.
On the other hand, the 49 grill is best ever :p

  7. The Caddy bumper ends just worked out perfect with the Desoto grill. It just happened that way, I bought the bumper ends and voila they worked!

Whatcha gonna put in the opening underneath the grille? It's a little more hole than grille....ABSOLUTELY has great possibilities!

  9. I am unsure what to put in the opening, may just do a piece of louvered metal. I also may put some LED lighting in there. Any suggestions? I think it looks pretty wicked the way it is. Can't wait to bring it out in the spring!

  12. Those pilot house dodges are kinda neat. I actually like the fact that no one is repopping the sheet metal. We have parts of 4 pilot house trucks. two have the extra windows in the cab. one runs. any road your custom grill treatment is what will set your truck apart.

  18. Running a 350 SBC that was in it when I bought the project. Otherwise it would be Mopar.

Mar-k used to have high side bed parts? Same exact bed 53-85... same cab 48-56...

Bruce Horkey has nice glass fenders. I want a set of 39-47 rears for my 49 B1b. Seen that done to one in Pierce County WA, much cleaner than the stock cycle fenders. And, if it is a tail dragger, the car fender skirts fit with some minor fender lip tweaking...

  26. We made the bed out of bent plate steel. The fenders are 47 Chevrolet truck they just gave a better look.

Not knocking them. Anything is better than the stock 48-52 rear fenders. Mine is getting a 57 Fury 230 L6, 5spd and rear end out of a Ranger, and lots of wood. Bed floor, armrests, headliner, firewall pad cover, kick panels.... same way my grandfather had it. Just real wood as opposed to 1950s panel board.
