Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by HaroldDegand, Dec 4, 2016.

  1. Not sure what i will do with it but it's in good hands:D:cool:

  2. Congrats on a GREAT FIND! My wife's favorite year and body style. I hope you build it. At that price you won't feel to bad about cutting it up. lol I would be smiling for a week. If it would have been in the U.S. I would have done the same thing. Keep us posted. Ron...

  3. BTW thanks Harold for the tip.
I found your post 5 minutes after it was posted, problem was it was 01:00 PM in the morning so making a phone call wasn't such a good idea. Phoned at 10:00 PM and made a deal :).
What are you looking for anyway ? a 33-34 or something else ?

Can't wait to see this one out in the sunlight with the dirt washed off of it. A really great deal and so neat to see someone here get it.

  10. Car is picked up and yes the interior is crap and gone.
Rockers are rusty but doors close like new.
Car is rusty underneat but certainly not bad and certainly not for the price that was paid :D
It had been stored in a warehouse where marihuana had been grown so it was very moisty.
The building was emptied by the police and the car was luckely saved with some other (newer)
    cars.

Thanks for the update! Too bad about the poor storage, but still looks like an incredible find for the price!

    Nice car!
It costs close to $3000 to ship a car like that from lower 48 to Alaska.

Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.

  21. This car was recently seen advertised for sale by a local vintage car dealer . Asking price was more than double the original price mentioned. Dutch Deuce must have flipped :cool:it. Thats progress :).

  22. Yes i sold it for a good price :) and have spent the money on my 39 Mercury and 32 V8.
Car was in worse shape than the pics look like but a great car for making a hotrod out of it.
My shipping costs were 150 euro to get it to my house.:D
