    anyone figure out how many pictures there on this thread so far? my rough guess is at least 15,000 original pictures (not including double or triple posts of the same pics...)

    but now that you mention it,the capitol looks just like des moines.......

  28. Thanks Maggie. I lived in Baker for many, many years. It's still a good place to raise a family.
    Lots of logging for many years and a long history of gold mining throughout the area. Were you aware Baker came real close to being the state capitol during the 1800's? Had a lot of population then.
