Done the search and read some, but cant find what I need. Build my banger with a Stromberg 97. Using stock cowl fuel tank in a 30 model A. Looking for fuel pump and regulator that will last a while.

I run the Carter pumps with the low pressure Holley regulator

Gravity feeding from Cowl tank to carburetor will be OK ,no electric fuel pump require

I like the little Holley. Is it dependable?

Well 11,000 mi. so far with no hiccups. I do run a relay even though it doesn't draw much amperage.

  10. Carter gets my vote. Use a quality regulator .;)

My Carter lasted 15 years and expired 200 miles from home . I got a Holley on a Sunday in a little town. But my Olds has been rich for a long time-finally so stinky my wife won't ride. Upon Forum suggestions I went to check my regulator and it was gone?...maybe that Sunday? Anyway I'm going back to a mechanical pump with a kit ordered from Hal at Classic Preservation Coalition and a freshening of my 3 Rochesters after 27 years. Aside from being lonely the problem with too much gas is rapid cylinder wear.
