I am running an S-10 to torquetube also. The Jeep is shorter than the S-10 and makes it more friendly for a model A too. As far as building one I am not a machinist and I know when I will need help. I had help with the input adapter set up I ended up having built. The 5 speed is well worth all the effort IMO.

  17. Steve,

Not a bummer, it is a step in what I want to build in the future. Believe me, I am always working out details for a better design.
Oh no, I hope they are not telling too many lies in the FAST news, is it Bonneville stories?

    STEVE

YOU KNOW I AM GOING BLIND. I HAVE NO CHOICE. EVERYTHING WILL BE SOLD. I SAVED THE BEST PROJECTS FOR MY RETIREMENT. YES IT'S A BUMMER BUT ALSO GIVES A CHANCE FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY THIS STUFF. I'M OK WITH THIS I'VE HAD A GOOD LONG RUN SO FAR. MANY OF YOU KNOW THIS. MY FIRST CAR WAS 56 YEARS AGO. I'VE TRAVELED ALL OVER THE WORLD AND BEEN HAPPY TO HAVE MY HANDS IN A LOT OF HISTORY. FINDING AND FIXING STUFF HAS PROVIDED ME WITH A GOOD LIFE AND A LOT OF FUN
GUYS THE OPERATIONS ONLY SLOW THIS ALL DOWN THEY AREN'T GOING TO FIX THIS. SO NO BOO-HOO CRAP PLEASE

NOW, LET'S JUST GO BACK TO TALKING CARS AND BS'N.

THAT LITTLE ENGINE IS 56X120 MM.... IT'S KINDDA DUMB BUT HAS A ROLLER CAM, IRON PISTONS AND A TINY MAGNETO..."DEADMAN" CLUTCH IS A RUBBER DISC IF YOU TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE CLUTCH IT SPINS FREE...YOUR LEG IS THE PRESSURE PLATE. VERY ODD. VERY FRENCH

    GOOD NIGHT IT'S 1:30AM:confused:
