I thought it was bad on Long Island with about 12" of snow and 8 degrees but I saw the Boston area on the AM news and you guys got hit hard. Cars in two feet of water that froze hard. I guess they will have to wait for spring to get those cars out.

Wow, I didn't know you guys got hit that hard! We got around 10" here and not much wind during the storm, but it has been windy as hell today. I have a daughter in NC and the wife and I have been talking about moving closer to her. I don't much care for the snow either

Having been brought up in Central Mass I had enough and moved to Florida in 1978. Haven't shoveled any snow since then.

Snow is just another 4 letter cuss word....
Can't wait till I retire, then I won't have to worry about it...

  16. Although it was just a dusting Tallahassee,Florida saw snow as did Savannah,Georgia 7" and Charleston ,S.C. got snow.

These places snow is rare as a barn find Deuce 3 window. HRP

  17. Send some our way (please). Was at 8000 ft elevation in the Sierra Nevadas yesterday and would have been hard pressed to find enough snow to build a snowman.

It's in the single digits and the wind has howled for 2 days. We may set all time records for low temps tonight and tomorrow night. I think it's too cold to snow. So, can I ask Al Gore to pay my heating costs?
