I have been a member of the HAMB for quite a while now but have never created a thread. I don't need any more projects but couldn't resist this one. I am not sure what I am going to do with it but would like to find more info from any local guys that may recognize it. This 32 has been off the road for almost 50 years. I bought it from the man who owned it all that time. It was originally built by the Salemi Brothers from North Smithfield RI. They are known for drag racing around these parts. It had a flathead then. The man I got it from put a 392 hemi (frozen) with a B&M Hydro Stick trans and Olds rear. The body sits on a 33/34 chassis. I would like to find some info on this car. Here are a few pics. 3 of them were taken in 1968. IMG_1222.jpg IMG_1220.jpg IMG_1219.jpg IMG_1218.jpg IMG_1217.jpg IMG_1216.jpg IMG_1205.jpg IMG_1204.jpg IMG_1213.jpg IMG_1212.jpg

Wowwee...time capsule busted...the 68 edition looked pretty right on the money and perhaps it was actually built many years before that. Ya must be still sitting at one side of the garage big grin shaking your head a little taking in the profile. Just an all around score.

The owner is a real nice guy. I had to move fast on buying it, i also ended up with a TR6 and Lionel trains. I cant help myself. He was to young to register it when he bought it, the bill of sale was written to his mother.

Looks like the date on the B & M warranty card was May of 1964.

@401rot that garage looks to have had a cement floor why the decay? It looked pretty solid in 68 still wearing the same shoes...

Nothing that isn't fixable but the northern climes can be non metal friendly for sure.

Awesome find! Hope it's returned to it former glory! So anytime a car is found I always wonder... What other cars or parts were there next to it?

That's my garage, I towed it in Yesterday. The floors were cut out in the 50s. The body is actually pretty decent for a New England car. Needs the lower patch panels but the rest of the car is real solid. The drivers rear qtr was hit and hammered out then filled.
