Pats 32 Phaeton, Dan Dupont Chassis from the Beverly Hills Street Rod days, Wescott body, junk yard 289 and C-4, I spent many miles with Pat, the car has been around the SoCal for over 2 decades with approx. 150K +miles..

This was Pats first hot rod build in the late 70's he was always a Hot Rodder and was heavily into Vettes, he built, painted, wired, plumbed and did everything except the chassis fab and interior.

 

And Pat’s an original All American Burger Cruiser from Scott’s and my Westwood-WLA
Cruise Night days from the mid 80’s at a time when a Hot Rod resurgence was in full effect.

This tub has a nice history that really was a part of that halcyon days of a transition from owner builds to pro builds. The jig where this chassis was built has been owned by Outrider Member Dave “Desert Head”Gorges for over 35 yrs. It also held my 1st Hot Rods frame and was the Beverly Hills Hot Rod Shops jig.

Pat also has a 32 3W that been an ongoing project for a number of years. It’ll hit the road sometime.

 

I knew I had seen that Tub, I photographed it at Bonneville 2016. Super nice car. JW
